Description

This recipe uses light ingredients, but it still comes out moist with a mild sweetness. Great to make if you don’t feel like waiting hours for traditional yeast bread, but are craving some.

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
