Tomato Soup I

Description

This is the creamiest tomato soup I have ever had.

Ingredients

  • 1 (29 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed chicken broth, undiluted
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion
  • ΒΌ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a large stock pot
  2. combine tomatoes
  3. chicken broth
  4. butter
  5. sugar
  6. onion
  7. and baking soda. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
  8. Stir in cream; cook until heated through and serve.
