  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 ounces mixed candied fruit, diced
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 ¼ tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 ¼ tablespoons hot water
