Description

A light and easy recipe for a Danish pastry dessert. For a variety, try substituting fruit jam for the pie filling.

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, divided
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar, divided
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tablespoon skim milk, or as needed
