Basic Fruit Bread Recipe

Description

Add any fruits, vegetables, nuts and spices that you desire.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded apple
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 4 1/2-x 8 1/2-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix flour

  7. oil
  8. eggs
  9. apple
  10. walnuts
  11. and vanilla in a large bowl until dry ingredients are just moistened. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  13. 35 to 40 minutes.
