Healthier Deep Dark Old Recipe Bran Muffins

Description

Chopped raisins sweeten these dark, bran-packed muffins.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups wheat bran
  • 1 ½ cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups nonfat plain yogurt
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 2 ½ tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup chopped raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 18 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
