Fried Cabbage

Description

This is a great way to get your family to eat veggies. My son dislikes boiled cabbage, but agrees this is a tasty dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon, diced
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook and stir bacon
  2. onions
  3. and bell pepper together in a skillet over medium heat until bacon is just starting to brown
  4. about 10 minutes. Add cabbage and cook
  5. stirring frequently
  6. until cabbage is tender and transparent
  7. 20 to 30 minutes.

Prep Time: 15 mins

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 45 mins

Servings: 8
