Grandma Randolph’s Noodles

Description

This is our family’s number-one favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal. The noodles take the place of the gravy, they get dumped over EVERYTHING! They are a great thick and tasty noodle.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs in a large bowl. Mix in flour
  2. salt
  3. and pepper. Divide dough in half
  4. then roll out the halves to 1/4-inch thick. Let dry for at least 2 hours.
  5. Cut noodles into long strips
  6. 1/2-inch to 1-inch wide.
  7. Bring beef broth to a boil over high heat. Drop noodles into boiling broth and cook until soft.

Total Time: 2 hrs 40 mins
