Baked Acorn Squash

Description

This is a very easy and yummy vegetable side dish to make!!

Ingredients

  • 2 acorn squash, halved and seeded
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup butter, diced
  • 6 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Place squash in a shallow baking pan
  3. cut side down.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes
  5. or until tender.
  6. Turn cut side up; season with salt and pepper
  7. dot with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes more.

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins
