Change up hamburger night with this Texas-style take on the classic cheeseburger. With green chiles and onions mixed right into the hamburger meat and guacamole on top, these burgers are real crowd-pleasers.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- ½ cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce, divided
- ⅓ cup chopped onion
- ⅓ cup chopped green chilies
- 6 roll (blank)s hamburger buns, split
- ½ cup guacamole
- ¾ cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ¾ cup chopped tomato
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Mix ground beef
- 1/4 cup of the steak sauce
- the onion and chilies; shape evenly into 6 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
- Grill patties
- uncovered
- 11 to 13 minutes or until cooked through (160 degrees F)
- turning patties occasionally and brushing with the remaining 1/4 cup steak sauce.
- Serve in buns topped evenly with the guacamole
- cheese and tomatoes.
