Slow roasting a lamb shoulder is a lot less stressful than trying to achieve perfection with a leg of lamb. And, if you like shredded beef and pulled pork, you’ll be down with this.
Ingredients
- 1 (3 1/2) pound bone-in lamb shoulder roast
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, cut in large dice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup cider vinegar
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh sliced mint
- 12 slider buns
