Soy Glaze

Description

Love it on grilled chicken or tuna. It gives an Asian flair.

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Mix brown sugar
  2. soy sauce
  3. white sugar
  4. water
  5. white wine vinegar
  6. rice vinegar
  7. and ground ginger in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until reduced by half
  8. about 30 minutes.
  9. Let glaze cool until thickened
  10. at least 1 hour.
