- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ cup long-grain white rice (Optional)
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 avocado – peeled, pitted, and sliced (Optional)
- 1 cup tortilla chips (Optional)
