Teriyaki Beef Kabobs

This is a simple, delicious recipe!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 large garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pound boneless beef top sirloin, cut into bite sized cubes
  • 1 (19 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into large chunks
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into large chunks
  • 4 skewers

Instructions

  1. Whisk brown sugar
  2. soy sauce
  3. garlic
  4. sesame oil
  5. and ground ginger together in a bowl; pour into a gallon-sized sealable plastic bag. Add beef
  6. coat with the marinade
  7. squeeze out excess air
  8. and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours
  9. flipping the bag several times as the meat marinates.
  10. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat
  11. and lightly oil the grate.
  12. Remove beef from the marinade. Discard the remaining marinade.
  13. Thread beef
  14. pineapple
  15. green bell pepper
  16. and red bell pepper onto skewers.
  17. Cook the skewers on the preheated grill
  18. turning frequently until nicely browned on all sides
  19. and the meat is no longer pink in the center
  20. 10 to 15 minutes.
