Cheesecake Brownies

Description

Jazz up an out-of-the-box brownie mix with an easy cheesecake topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 (19.8 ounce) package brownie mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ⅓ cup white sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Prepare brownie mix: Stir brownie mix
  3. water
  4. oil
  5. and eggs in a medium bowl until well blended. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Prepare cheesecake topping: Beat together cream cheese
  7. egg
  8. and sugar using an electric mixer until smooth. Dollop the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter. Swirl together using a knife or skewer.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 22 to 25 minutes. Brownies will be done when a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan
  10. then cut into 24 squares and serve.
