Very Easy Risotto

Description

This green onion and Parmesan cheese rice dish is easy, fast and doesn’t require constant stirring!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ⅔ cup sliced green onion
  • 1 ⅓ cups uncooked long-grain rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook green onions in butter briefly
  2. then add the rice. Cook and stir for a few minutes to toast rice. Stir in water
  3. and season with chicken bouillon and pepper. Bring to a boil
  4. then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover
  5. and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat
  7. cover
  8. and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 40 mins
