Kerri’s Szechuan Sauce

Description

A spicy sauce that is great with vegetables, chicken, or beef.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground white pepper
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce
  2. oyster sauce
  3. rice wine
  4. sugar
  5. and white pepper together in a small saucepan. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until heated through
  6. about 5 minutes.
  7. Mix water and cornstarch together in a small bowl. Pour into the saucepan; simmer until sauce thickens
  8. about 5 minutes.
