An easy, delicious recipe made with ingredients you always have around the house! A definite winner! Wonderful served with rice!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups water
- ¼ cup distilled white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions
- Mix beef
- onion
- egg
- and bread crumbs together in a medium bowl until well combined; shape into balls
- about 1 1/2-inches in size.
- Cook meatballs in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until evenly browned
- about 10 minutes; set aside.
- Stir water
- sugar
- vinegar
- soy sauce
- and flour together in a large saucepan until well combined. Add meatballs and bring to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer
- stirring often
- for 30 minutes.
