Oatmeal Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you can’t decide what kind of cookie to make, this cookie has it all. The oats, peanut butter and chocolate chips are a chewy and flavorful combination.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Beat brown sugar
  3. butter
  4. and white sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in eggs
  5. one at a time
  6. until combined. Stir in peanut butter
  7. water
  8. and vanilla.
  9. Combine flour and baking soda in a separate bowl. Stir dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven until lightly toasted on the edges
  11. 8 to 10 minutes.
  12. Remove from the oven and transfer to wire racks to cool.
