Description
Tender white fish fillets are coated with a savory breadcrumb mixture made from Pepperidge Farm® White Sandwich Bread, Parmesan cheese, garlic, thyme, pepper and olive oil, and are baked until the fish is done and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
Ingredients
- 2 slices Pepperidge Farm® White Sandwich Bread
- ⅓ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 (3 ounce) fillets tilapia or other firm white fish fillets*
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Place bread

- thyme and black pepper in blender or food processor. Cover and blend until fine crumbs form. Slowly add olive oil and blend until moistened.
- Arrange fish fillets in large shallow roasting pan. Brush with egg. Divide bread crumb mixture evenly over fillets.
- Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork and crumb topping is golden.
