Description
Salmon is marinated in teriyaki sauce, honey, and orange juice, topped with fresh figs and then baked. It’s a very easy and delicious dish to prepare.
Ingredients
- 6 (5 ounce) salmon fillets
- ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon dried basil
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 4 large (2-1/2″ dia)s fresh figs, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse salmon and pat dry. Place in a baking dish.
- Mix teriyaki sauce
- orange juice
- honey
- and garlic in a cup. Pour sauce over salmon
- then sprinkle with cumin
- basil
- salt
- and pepper. Spread chopped figs over the salmon. Let marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Bake salmon in the preheated oven until it flakes easily with a fork
- about 25 minutes.
