Grilled Teriyaki Salmon

Description

Flavorful, rich teriyaki marinade for salmon and other firm seafood.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, or more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (6 ounce) fillets salmon

Instructions

  1. Whisk teriyaki sauce
  2. apple juice
  3. brown sugar
  4. vinegar
  5. pepper
  6. and garlic together in a small bowl.
  7. Place salmon fillets in a glass baking dish. Pour marinade over top
  8. cover
  9. and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours.
  10. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
  11. Remove salmon fillets from the marinade and shake off excess. Pour marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until reduced
  12. about 5 minutes.
  13. At the same time
  14. grill salmon fillets on the preheated grill until fish flakes easily with a fork
  15. 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  16. Serve fillets with reduced marinade drizzled over top.
