Description
To use kale for a salad, you may want to massage the leaves. Sounds crazy, but the leaves are softer, greener and milder to taste. I often use kale as a base in salads, in this case I have added vegetables, beans, and tuna. A delicious combination of flavors!
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package kale, stemmed and chopped
- ½ avocado, diced
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- ½ cup canned black beans, drained
- ½ cup chopped cremini mushrooms
- ½ (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
- 1 ½ teaspoons Italian-style salad dressing, or to taste
