Hot Crabmeat Dip

Description

This is a wonderfully creamy and tasty dip, made rich with crabmeat and topped with toasted almonds. Serve it with slices of your favorite bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained and flaked
  • ⅓ cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl
  3. mix the cream cheese
  4. milk
  5. onion
  6. horseradish
  7. salt
  8. pepper and crabmeat. Spread the mixture into a pie pan or shallow baking dish. Sprinkle almonds over the crabmeat mixture
  9. Bake in the preheated oven 45 minutes
  10. or until bubbly and lightly browned.
