Eagle Salad

Description

Don’t worry! It’s not really eagle! This is an easy elbow macaroni salad that my Aunt makes. Everybody LOVES it!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ small onion, chopped
  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni
  2. and cook until al dente
  3. about 8 minutes. Drain
  4. and rinse with cold water to chill. Set aside to dry.
  5. Mix together the cooled macaroni noodles
  6. mayonnaise
  7. onion and tuna in a bowl. Taste and add more mayonnaise
  8. if desired. Season with salt and black pepper. Refrigerate until serving.

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 20 mins
