4-Ingredient Teriyaki Sauce

Description

Easy-to-make, semisweet marinade/sauce. Just throw your meat and veggies in with the sauce, turn the heat back on, and keep cooking!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 dash dry mustard (Optional)
  • 1 dash garlic powder (Optional)
  • 1 dash ginger powder (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a saucepan over medium heat. Add soy sauce
  2. water
  3. and vinegar; cook until heated through
  4. 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in brown sugar
  5. mustard
  6. garlic powder
  7. and ginger; cook until dissolved
  8. about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand until slightly thickened
  9. 3 to 5 minutes.
